The weight to be saved by exchanging the relatively lightweight fenders is next to nothing, and running CF doors on a street car is a death-wish if you should ever get t-boned. There is plenty of weight that can be saved by exchanging many parts, but body panel replacement is several steps down the list. Seats, emissions system, heavy cast iron emissions components, etc. all can be removed or replaced to save a lot more weight than the body panels, and alos at a significantly lower price.
